Caleta de Fuste Villas
Caleta de Fuste: About 15 minutes drive from the airport lies Caleta de Fuste also known as Castillo. A bustling small resort offering a selection of bars, some with live entertainment, a choice of local shops, and a wide variety of restaurants.  The local beach has golden sand and slopes gently into the sea providing safe entertainment for children.. Most of our villas are located on the  Fuerteventura Golf Club development just 3kms from Caleta de Fuste and 2kms from the new Shopping/Entertainment centre which includes 8 cinemas, a bowling alley, hypermarket and many shops/restaurants.
Beaches
There are around 125 miles of beach on Fuerteventura, there are surfing beaches, child friendly beaches and remote nudist beaches.  With a mixture of fine white sand and black volcanic sand the island has the biggest selection of beaches in the Canaries.  All have their own qualities but those worthy of a visit would be Ajuy (pitch black fine sand), the Corralejo dunes,  and Jandia, 21km stretch of pure white sand.  At Caleta de Fuste the large horseshoe shape beach  has been created from pale golden sand, that was brought in especially for the purpose.  It is an ideal location for families with its easy-going relaxed atmosphere and gently shelving shoreline.  From here you can take advantage of the diving, sailing and submarine facilities.
Eating Out
Caleta de Fuste has a range of restaurants and bars to suit most tastes. Lots of the local cuisine consists of fish dishes, as there is an abundant supply of fresh fish. There are a couple of very good restaurants that specialise in fish dishes.  The national cuisines of various countries are a feature of many of the Caleta De Fuste restaurants. There are several Chinese restaurants. Other countries represented are Mexico, Portugal, Italy, and of course Britain.  A speciality of Canarian cuisine is "papas arrugadas con mojo", little "wrinkly potatoes" with "mojo verde" (green garlic sauce) or "mojo rojo", also called "mojo picón" (red garlic sauce, very spicy).    Another well-loved sew is "rancho canario", consisting of garbanzos (chick-peas), noodles and potatoes, together with bacon fat, beef and chicken.
Leisure
Watersports are available from the beach at Caleta de Fuste as well as boat trips and even a submarine excursion.  You will find camel rides available on the island as well as buggy safaris, go-karting, kite flying, sailing, snorkeling, golf, fishing, windsurfing, microflights and indoor bowling, you certainly wont get bored on Fuerteventura!
Places to Visit
Fuerteventura has many attractions that visitors will enjoy. There are lots of historical villages housing beautiful churches, traditional dwellings and museums. The main town on the island, Puerto del Rosario which  has a stunning harbour.   Jandia Nature Reserve  Parque Natural de Jandia is located in the town of Pajara and is an area full of contrasts. The reserve is a mixture of sand dunes and vegetation.    La Lajita Zoo and The Oasis Park Garde  ~La Lajita Zoo is home to a small selection of animals and offers a parrot show, horse rides and camel safaris.  Puerto del Rosario  This is the busiest town on the island and can be found on the western side. Efforts have only been made recently to take advantage of the booming tourist trade and even today, goats are thought to outnumber people. The stunning harbour has recently been rebuilt and features some excellent examples of traditional architecture. The home of the exiled poet, Miguel de Unamuno - now a museum - can also be found at the harbour
.
