LACOMO ~ One of Our Mallorca villas
This lovely traditional farmhouse stands on a hillside overlooking the Colonya valley and only 1300m from the old town of Pollensa
Large Mallorcan style double doors from the patio lead into a living room with beamed ceilings, chandelier lighting and beautiful natural stone walls. To one side is a sitting area with sofa, chairs and a wood burning stove, to the far end of the room there is a large dining table, display dressers, antique cabinets and a TV. From here steps lead up to a spacious kitchen with a large fridge/freezer, cooker and walk in pantry.    A tiled staircase from the sitting room leads to a corridor off which are two twin bedrooms and two bedrooms with double beds. One of the twin bedrooms has a door to a little patio area to the rear and an en-suite bathroom. The other bedrooms share a full bathroom and although more simply furnished in country cottage style, they all have patio doors with steps up or down to little terraces. All the bedrooms are air conditioned.
Outside has rustic tables and chairs for dining al fresco as well as a large portable barbecue and an old Mallorcan oven in the corner. Big double doors from here open into a further dining room which used to be the original stables of the house and a lovely old stone manger has been kept as a feature. Beyond the patio You will find a utility room with washing machine and wc, and just after this, a couple of steps lead up to the terrace and the 10 x 5m pool with wonderful views over the valley and the mountain "Puig de Maria"
The pool area is surrounded by railings to make it safe for children To the rear of the house there is covered parking for two cars and it´s no more than five minutes drive to Pollensa and about 7 km to the beaches of Puerto Pollensa. During Winter 2009 the villa is being refurbished therefore interior shots may vary and the villa will also boast it’s own private tennis court.   Friday changeover
