Business trips  have  recently taken me to various regions in Spain including the Costa Blanca, Costa Del Sol and the Costa Brava , and they all offered a certain charm and individual beauty.  Each time I returned to the UK airport, full of enthusiasm and excitement about the resorts visited

However the moment  the radio is turned on in my car for the  drive back  home,  the media are  bombarding me with the “R” word.  Did you know that Britain is in a Recession!  We are all doomed!

Well correct me if I am wrong, but isn't  Spain in a Recession too and yet they are not force-fed all the negativity that we get, 24 hours a day!  I fully appreciate we are all experiencing difficult times but do we need reminding of it all day, every day!

Well done Spain , you too are facing troubled times but unlike the UK , you are just getting on with it, and I for one admiRe you!  For those who want a break from our news, press and radio coverage on the “R” word,  could I  highly recommend a trip to Spain !
