As Britain bakes in the Summer
sunshine and we all rush out to buy our air
conditioning units, there is talk of record high
temperatures but we should be grateful that we were
not in Spain 130 years ago or worse still California
in 1913 when the temperature hit 57
degrees C – Now that is hot!
