With the 2010 Football world cup kicking off on 11
June and running through to the final on 11 July the
travel industry traditionally fall into two camps,
those naturally wanting England to do well and
those fearing Brits will stay at home to watch the
games. However, now that the vast majority of
villas, hotels and apartments have their own
satellite televisions, most showing BBC channels, it
becomes even more attractive to grab a Sunny summer
“deal” and relax around the pool before nipping
into the comfort of your accommodation for 90
minutes. Ladies, and those less interested in
football can even grab a little bit of “me time”
whilst the men are cheering on their team, with
peaceful sunbathing, shopping, sightseeing or
watersports.
