FEAST OF FIESTAS IN
MALLORCA
Spain
is well know for its fiestas and
Mallorca
is no exception with the Islanders celebrating
National Holidays in style and even have a few
traditions of their own!
Not all are based upon religion, many have
their roots in pagan traditions and there is always an
emphasis on food!
Most are celebrated with exhibitions, local
dancers, singers, all in traditional costumes, and
large parades through the streets followed by
spectacular firework displays.
July

group leading a torch-lit parade through the streets
with the Dimonis Ka de Bou (demons)
24.00 Firework spectacular to end the fiesta on
the beach by La Gola

the youngest of the town will go through the
