Following a recent
study it would seem that the colour of your beach
towel is as important as the colour of your tan.
By all accounts if you are aged between 11 – 49 the
colour has to be blue, it can be blue stripes, blue
dots, blue waves or blue abstract but it has to be
blue! 53% of people surveyed had a blue towel and
this was closely followed by “pink” and in third
place was Yellow……
And who says size
doesn’t matter, it HAS to be at least 180cm long,
although the width is not of such great importance!
How often do we wash our beach
towel whilst on holiday – YUK – we don’t! Well the
vast majority (85%) of us don’t, it doesn’t see the
inside of a washing machine until we return home!
Finally how many of those lovingly packed beach
towels get left behind, a staggering 14% don’t make
it back into the suitcase, probably as space has
been taken up with goodies bought on holiday
