The Uk is renowned for it’s April showers and with an average of 65mm of rain falling in the month this is similar to the amount that falls in the Caribbean at this time of the year, but the big difference is that the temperatures vary by 20C with the warm sunshine reaching 33C in Antigua and Barbados while UK high’s are 13C.

The Mediterranean is warming up during April and you can expect the thermometer to hit 20C in Spain and Portugal during April with the Canaries up in the mid 20’s.  For guaranteed dry heat you need to pop over to Dubai where it is a basking 34C with 11 hours of sunshine in April.
