Holidaymakers visiting the Algarve in October had
the chance to visit the Algarve Historic Festival
which is billed as being “More than a Motorsport
Event”!
With 16
acres for 12 Historic Racing Cars’ categories the
Festival is the biggest motor racing event to be
held in Portugal and Spain.
Being
held at the new Autodromo Internacional do
Algarve, in Portimao between 16 – 18
October 2009, parades will include
Ferrari, Maserati, Osca European Charity Parade:
MINI 50 Year Commemoration Charity Parade and
The Masters Series:
Grand Prix Masters, World Sportscar Masters, Sports
Racing Masters, Gentlemen Drivers GT & Sport, Pré-66
Saloons, Touring '70s, Proto '70s.
With entrance fees starting at €10 pp and the days
packed with events and races running from 0730
(0900 on Sunday) this will be a weekend not to be
missed by Racing enthusiasts.
