Dubai
,
the jewel in the Middle Eastern Crown, appears to have
been hit by the Recession despite the Emirates being
one of the richest regions
in the World which is good news for
holidaymakers wanting to go there this year!.
It
would seem that some of the planned building projects
such as ever-bigger
malls, and even taller buildings are likely to be
halted if future finance is sought.
It
is however, evident
that the Emirates still have enough oil reserves to
back up their finances to fund current ventures but
the question has to be asked why are they increasing
the number of luxury hotels, apartments and villas,
when the place is already saturated and global travel
has slowed down dramatically.
It is believed that tourism is suffering with
some of the top hotels, over-indulgent restaurants
and swanky bars deserted.
So,
for those wishing to take advantage of some heavily
