Holidaymakers are being urged to
be cautious when booking their summer holiday as a
scam has just been uncovered whereby a teenage
fraudster pocketed over £8000 by selling fake
holidays on Ebay.
The 25 year old copied and pasted
holidays from legitimate travel firms and put them up
for auction under his name and used his own personal
bank account to collect payments.
He was rumbled when negative
feedback started to appear under his contact from
furious holidaymakers!
Once again the general public should select their
holiday provider carefully ensuring they are booking
with a legitimate bonded company.
