Villa World have carefully selected individual car hire companies who, we are confident, will be able to offer you a selection of vehicles and services at competitive rates so that you can enjoy freedom and independence during your holiday. There will either be a desk at the airport with friendly English-speaking staff or you will be met personally by a car hire company representative to transfer you to your vehicle and ensure that your holiday starts smoothly.

Prices quoted are weekly and include unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver, delivery to airport and local taxes unless otherwise specified. Rates shown are for pre-booked cars only. There is often an “excess” should there be a claim, in some areas this is included in the price, in others it can be waivered with an additional charge. Please ask for details. Cars are offered subject to availability and in some instances similar cars may be substituted. Specific cars within groups cannot be guaranteed. Villa World act as agent of the car hire company and the agreement will be governed by each car hire company’s standard contract. Overloading of cars invalidates the insurance policy and we cannot accept bookings for cars where this may be abused.

TP (Theft Protection): Most car hire companies include this insurance to cover the cost of vandalism or theft. CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): This means you are covered for the cost of damage to the car less excess charge in some cases, regardless of the cause but excludes vandalism and theft.

PAI (Personal Accident Insurance): This is an optional extra which is often covered by your Personal Holiday insurance, but check before you travel. A/C (Air Conditioning) Prices exclude: Petrol, fines, towing and garaging of vehicle in case of an accident and damage to wheels, tyres, wing mirrors and the undercarriage of the car. In calculating the price, weekly rates will be taken from each relevant season.

All local charges are plus tax (15-19%). Child seats – usually only suitable for infants over 6 months old – please ask for details. Not all car hire companies offer child seats.  Some upper age restrictions apply.
